The proprietor, Reinhold Messner, and the tenants, Gisela & Martin Aurich, built the farm winery in 1992. On the hillside, a wide variety of grapes are grown in the vineyards, as well of fruit for the estate distillery.
On around four hectares of land are produced and bottled every year around 30.000 bottles of wine.
In the distillery a wide array of spirits are produced, mostly by our own grape mash, as well as fruit brandies, mostly obtained by fruits from our farm
The Unterortl Winery products are on sale in the estate shop and from selected wine-dealers.
You can also find the wines and spirits in high-profile restaurants and South Tyrol hotels.
